Any user on Boathouse Connect is allowed to create an email or text messages, but not all users are allowed to SEND emails and text messages. Message Review acts as a way for organizations to control what communications get sent out to their members on their behalf. If a user who does not have permission to send messages wants to send one, the message will be placed in Pending Review. When new messages are pending review, all users who are authorized to send messages will receive a Boathouse Connect notification that there is a new message pending review. On the pending review page (Communications -> Pending Review), authorized users can see (and edit) the message and it's recipients. If the authorized user decides that the message is safe to send, they can approve it.
Messages created by users with the following permissions do not need to be reviewed:
